SSIA 1st Member Meeting & Quarterly Knowledge Sharing 2016

Dear SSIA members and friends

Several big ideas were showcased in the CES 2016 - big screens, crazy curves, 4 or 8K, smartwatches, fitness trackers, 3D printed objects, Virtual and Augmented Reality, Drones, IoT, Autonomous vehicles and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and many more. In this year's inaugural members meeting themed Big Ideas 2016, we at SSIA bring to you a snapshot share of the CES happenings along with some insight share on a few of these technology advances.

One of the regular feature of our members meeting has been to provide a platform for our member companies to share their company informaion with the other members. Two member companies will do so at this forum.

IoT has been the talk of the town for some time now. Has anyone figured it out completely. Possible. Is this analysis ready available? Not really. The presentation tries to look at IoT Strategy from different abstraction levels and discuss the challenges faced while playing in this space. It also shows the key connections and players at the different levels. Some case studies of successful deployment in different segments are presented and briefly touches on the aspect of security.
