BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE (FULL TIME)

Job Responsibilities

  • Achieve optimum membership growth and retention vis development and executive of strategic plans
  • Maintaining and enlarging the pool of strategic alliances amongst members, SMEs, government agencies, academic institutions, and collaborative partners, so as to enjoy effective flow of exchanges and collaborate events and activities.
  • Source for sponsorship to fund Society’s events and operations
  • Spearhead member networking sessions, CEO events, conferences and continuing education and training needs of members
  • Initiate business matching, study missions, partnership events with selected parties to promote business, local and international.
  • Program manage outreach activities to raise awareness and promote semiconductor and electronics industry as a whole.
  • Reports directly to Executive Director

EXECUTIVE, OUTREACH (FULL TIME)

Job responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing strategic Outreach plans, to raise awareness and promote the Semiconductor and Electronics Industry

  • Work with partners in the academia, and various agencies to plan and implement efforts to seek out, develop and retain talents needed for the present and future economy

  • Set up and oversee mentorship programme, working with partners, members, various agencies and academies

  • Organize and set up on-line Portal for Outreach programme, working with our Marketing Communication Officer

  • Provide support to the SSIA secretariat as necessary

Requirement

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.

  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

  • Require Skill(s): Sales, Marketing, HR in Electronics Industry.

  • Preferably Junior Executive specialised in Marketing/Business Development or equivalent. 

TECHNOLOGY CAPABILITY ENABLEMENT MANAGER (FULL TIME) 

Job Responsibilities

  • Gathering, analyzing and publishing of data of new technology and knowledge.

  • Organizing and facilitating group events, forums, workshops for potential partners that will lead to the adoption of new product, startups, ventures, and new markets especially international markets.

  • Organizing and facilitating technical conferences, forums, workshops and training.

  • Securing partners, agencies, R&D entities, to support our mission to develop new products, applications and startups.

  • Investigate and create partnership with other industries to achieve our goals.

  • Identify and develop partnerships between SME and MNC / technology suppliers in areas of IoT via pitching sessions and conferences / workshops.

  • Provide support to the SSIA secretariat as necessary.

Requirement

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Profession Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.

  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

  • Require Skill(s): Technical, Process, IC Design

  • Preferably Manager specialised in Engineering Electronics/Communication or equivalent.
