Singapore Semiconductor Leadership Accelerator (SSLA) – 5th Run

Dear Members,

We are pleased to invite you/your company to participate the fifth run of the Singapore Semiconductor Leadership Accelerator (SSLA). In the upcoming 5th run of the Singapore Semiconductor Leadership Accelerator (SSLA) programme launched by Singapore Semiconductor Industry Association (SSIA) and Human Capital Leadership Institute (HCLI). Delivered as two modules, the program is an immersive hands-on learning experience designed to accelerate personal and professional growth for leaders to succeed in the increasingly volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) global environment; with special emphasis and strong focus on the semiconductor industry.

The Singapore Semiconductor Leadership Accelerator (SSLA) is a custom program designed to inspire emerging technical and business leaders to continue creating revolutionary possibilities with semiconductors. It was conceived as part of the Singapore Semiconductor Vision (SSV) 2020, a taskforce comprising the private and public sectors to increase competitiveness in Singapore’s semiconductor manufacturing industry, representing over S$56B of annual manufacturing output and employing over 44,000 people in 2015. The task force proposed three recommendations: strengthen global competitiveness through innovation, enhance public-private R&D partnerships, and nurture leadership development.

The 5th Run will be the final run of SSLA. Due to COVID-19, a huge portion of this run will be on a virtual platform. However, to stay true to the core of SSLA, there will be physical networking sessions for the participants when the situation allows. This run is going to be special. New elements such as the macro environmental trends, leadership agility, topics on Industrial 4.0, and more will be added. We will bring the most relevant topics of today’s business into the programme.

SSLA is targeted at senior-level managers and directors who are part of the company’s succession plan with responsibility for strategic decision-making.
