SSIA Secretariat Team

Wee Seng counts over 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, across fab start up, process integration, technology development, yield improvement, manufacturing, equipment engineering, cost management and program management. 

 Helming the SSIA Secretariat team since 2018, Wee Seng has redefined the association’s strategic directions and operations, to better deliver its mission and vision. Embracing a holistic approach to driving business transformation in Singapore and the region, he concurrently sits on several Advisory Committees, such as in Singapore Polytechnic’s School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (SEEE), the government and industry-backed Industrial Transformation Asia-Pacific (ITAP)  platform, as well as ESG’s Smart Manufacturing Technical Committee (SMTC)  and Environment and Resources Standards Technical Committee for Energy. 

Wee Seng holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nanyang Technological University and a Masters (MSc) in Management of Technology from National University of Singapore.

Amy has over 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, working in both front-end and back-end fabs. She’s skilled in planning, procurement, and supply chain management. Her experience also includes working on new fab startups, implementing new procurement systems, managing warehouse operations, and overseeing cost and program management. Amy is dedicated to using her knowledge to help SSIA members grow both locally and internationally and strengthen collaborations between government and industry partners. She holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the National University of Singapore.

Ivah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with minors in Sociology and Journalism from Monash University and is an IHRP Certified Professional. Ivah’s extensive experience in HR within the finance sector positions her as a key strategic partner, dedicated to fostering inclusive workplace cultures and driving organizational success. She has held various regional HR roles at top financial firms, where she has spearheaded initiatives in the areas of talent management and programmes, business advisory and talent acquisition. A true coffee enthusiast, Ivah believes in starting the day with a strong brew and enjoys adding a kick of chili to her meals. Outside of work, she’s an adventurous spirit, always ready to explore new destinations with her family.

She has cultivated strong connections within the semiconductor community, actively supporting SSIA’s Human Capital Development initiatives to attract and nurture emerging talent. Daphne is deeply committed to fostering workforce readiness and driving growth within the industry.

Her unique combination of skills enables her to strategically drive the growth of Singapore’s semiconductor industry by understanding workforce needs and effectively promoting the sector to emerging talent. As she begins her career, Swee Ling brings a fresh perspective and a hands-on approach to tackling challenges. She is dedicated to continuous learning and is always eager to expand her complementary skill sets. Outside of work, Swee Ling enjoys baking and experimenting with new recipes to delight family and friends. Despite potential debates, she firmly chooses tea over coffee any day.

Her diverse industry exposure, ranging from real estate to electronics, equips her with a nuanced understanding of varying HR dynamics.
