Wee Seng counts over 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, across fab start up, process integration, technology development, yield improvement, manufacturing, equipment engineering, cost management and program management. 

 Helming the SSIA Secretariat team since 2018, Wee Seng has redefined the association’s strategic directions and operations, to better deliver its mission and vision. Embracing a holistic approach to driving business transformation in Singapore and the region, he concurrently sits on several Advisory Committees, such as in Singapore Polytechnic’s School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (SEEE), the government and industry-backed Industrial Transformation Asia-Pacific (ITAP)  platform, as well as ESG’s Smart Manufacturing Technical Committee (SMTC)  and Environment and Resources Standards Technical Committee for Energy. 

Wee Seng holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nanyang Technological University and a Masters (MSc) in Management of Technology from National University of Singapore.  

Amy has over 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, working in both front-end and back-end fabs. She’s skilled in planning, procurement, and supply chain management. Her experience also includes working on new fab startups, implementing new procurement systems, managing warehouse operations, and overseeing cost and program management. Amy is dedicated to using her knowledge to help SSIA members grow both locally and internationally and strengthen collaborations between government and industry partners. She holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the National University of Singapore.

Ivah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with minors in Sociology and Journalism from Monash University and is an IHRP Certified Professional. Ivah’s extensive experience in HR within the finance sector positions her as a key strategic partner, dedicated to fostering inclusive workplace cultures and driving organizational success. She has held various regional HR roles at top financial firms, where she has spearheaded initiatives in the areas of talent management and programmes, business advisory and talent acquisition. A true coffee enthusiast, Ivah believes in starting the day with a strong brew and enjoys adding a kick of chili to her meals. Outside of work, she’s an adventurous spirit, always ready to explore new destinations with her family.

With over 15 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, Daphne Leong brings a wealth of expertise gained through diverse roles in project and event management, strategic partnerships, and talent development. She has cultivated strong connections within the semiconductor community, actively supporting SSIA’s Human Capital Development initiatives to attract and nurture emerging talent. Daphne is deeply committed to fostering workforce readiness and driving growth within the industry.

Sok Yee drives membership engagement and supports the growth of local SMEs at SSIA. With a background in B2B conference production, she excels at fostering communities among C-level executives and enhancing brand awareness across various industries. Although she is new to the semiconductor sector, Sok Yee is eager to expand her knowledge and is committed to continuous learning and professional growth within the field.

Qin Fang brings a strong background in strategic planning and sustainability. She has extensive experience leading multi-year strategic initiatives, managing corporate sustainability efforts, and driving organizational transformation in her prior roles at DSO and MOF. An NTU graduate in Public Policy and Global Affairs, Qin Fang is passionate about fostering collaboration to achieve industry growth and sustainability goals.

Swee Ling earned a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management with a minor in Digital Content Marketing from the Singapore University of Social Sciences. Her unique combination of skills enables her to strategically drive the growth of Singapore’s semiconductor industry by understanding workforce needs and effectively promoting the sector to emerging talent. As she begins her career, Swee Ling brings a fresh perspective and a hands-on approach to tackling challenges. She is dedicated to continuous learning and is always eager to expand her complementary skill sets. Outside of work, Swee Ling enjoys baking and experimenting with new recipes to delight family and friends. Despite potential debates, she firmly chooses tea over coffee any day.

Leanne is a dedicated professional with over two years of experience in B2B marketing and social media content creation. A graduate of Singapore Polytechnic and Lancaster University Business School, she brings a fresh and creative perspective to SSIA’s communications and content development. Leanne is skilled in video editing and plays a key role as one half of the creative minds behind the organization.

With over 20 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, Lew Wei Keat is a leader in equipment and manufacturing management, driving significant advancements and cost savings. His degree in Mechanical & Production Engineering from NTU underpins his expertise and contributions to the industry.

Cindy brings valuable expertise to her role, drawing from a strong background in marketing and secretarial functions across both MNCs and SMEs. Her skills are essential to the smooth day-to-day operations of the association and in supporting Wee Seng’s leadership. She is also actively involved in key areas such as membership engagement, outreach, and content development, contributing meaningfully to the organization’s core priorities and enhancing the association’s communication efforts.

With more than 25+ years of human resources management experience, Patsy’s passion for her field is as strong as ever. Her comprehensive expertise, garnered through roles in start-ups, SMEs, and MNCs across Singapore and Asia, spans the full spectrum of HR management—including recruitment, employee engagement, administrative roles, industrial relations, and navigating the complexities of change management during mergers and acquisitions. Her diverse industry exposure, ranging from real estate to electronics, equips her with a nuanced understanding of varying HR dynamics.
