
Katrina Tan is currently the manager of Workforce Development at Micron Technology. She leads training and development strategies for the Singapore Assembly and Test sites, focusing on building an agile and capable workforce through structured upskilling, leadership development, and continuous learning.
She began her career with Micron in 2016 as a process and equipment engineer at Frontend Wafer Fab at Woodlands, specializing in wet process engineering and driving yield improvement initiatives. She later supported the Micron’s Japan’s fab ramp up in 2019 and subsequently worked as a tool install engineer when she was back to the Singapore fab to qualify tools for high volume production.
Katrina moved to the Micron Singapore’s Assembly and Test site in 2020, where she assumed the role of a workforce development engineer who leads workforce development initiatives spanning onboarding, AI upskilling, lean capability building, and leadership development programs. Throughout her time, her work has enabled the workforce to remain agile and effective in a challenging operating environment, guided by an integrated learning model that develops technical, social, and adaptability capabilities across all job levels in Micron.
She holds a Bachelor (Hons) degree in Chemistry from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and is certified under the WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP).
