Vice President & Head of Strategy, Mergers and Acquisitions, Infineon Technologies

Rohit Girdhar is the Vice President & Head of Strategy, Mergers and Acquisitions of Infineon Technologies Asia Pacific Pte Ltd. Infineon Technologies is a semiconductor and solutions provider with revenues of approximately 16 Bn USD and 58,000 employees worldwide.

Rohit has lived and worked in the US, France, India and Singapore. He started his professional career at Teradyne Inc. San Jose in 1998 as an engineer/project manager. In 2005 he joined Infineon Technologies in Singapore. In his current role, he is part of the regional leadership team and works on corporate assignments for Infineon’s entities in the Asia Pacific, e.g. in India, ASEAN, Korea and Australia/New Zealand. Besides strategy development, Rohit is also responsible for engagements with ecosystem partners in Asia Pacific. From 2017, he is on the Board of Directors of Infineon Technologies India.

Rohit holds a MS from Stanford University, an MBA from INSEAD, and a BE (honors) from BITS Pilani, India. He has received an Executive Certificate in Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School at Harvard University and completed the Infineon General Management Program (IGMP) at INSEAD. Rohit is also an alumnus of the AsiaEurope Young leaders Program of the Bertelsmann Foundation.
