Connecting the Global Semiconductor Value Chain

At SSIA, we believe growth happens when ecosystems connect.

Through our Market Access Series, we open doors across ASEAN, Asia, Europe, the Middle East and the Americas — creating pathways for knowledge exchange, business opportunities, and partnerships that strengthen the global semiconductor value chain.

Explore Batam’s Manufacturing Potential with SSIA x Panbil

Calling for SSIA members who are in Electronics & EMS, Precision Engineering, CNC Machining, Industrial Automation and Components Manufacturing, join us for an exclusive industry day trip to Batam on Thursday, 2 July 2026.

With Batam emerging as a strategic extension of the regional manufacturing ecosystem, be part of this trip to gain first-hand insights into:

  • Batam’s investment and manufacturing landscape
  • Industrial estate and ecosystem developments
  • Tax, legal, and labour considerations
  • Talent and workforce readiness
  • Existing manufacturing operations and innovation districts

The programme includes ecosystem presentations, networking opportunities, and site visits to Panbil Industrial Estate, Tembesi Innovation District, manufacturing facilities, and Batam Polytechnic.

Limited slots available. A subsidised participation fee will be applicable for ferry and administrative arrangements.

In The Spotlight
Vietnam: Strengthening Regional Synergies

The programme offers two modes over 3 to 6 months: Place-and-Train (PnT) for mid-career new hires and Job Redesign Reskilling (JRR) for existing employees needing reskilling. In the PnT mode, participants are hired by companies before starting their training.

India: Deepening Strategic Partnerships

Earlier this year, SSIA expanded engagement with India — one of the world’s fastest-growing semiconductor markets. From forging partnerships in IC design and electronics manufacturing to aligning on talent development, the collaboration reflects the shared ambition of Singapore and India to build resilient, future-ready semiconductor ecosystems.

Netherlands: Building a Stronger Capability Ecosystem

The SSIA-led semiconductor and photonics mission connected Singapore’s SMEs with Netherlands top technology clusters, paving the way for new R&D and manufacturing partnerships. From ASML to SMART Photonics and University of Twente, we explore opportunities to power the next wave of semiconductor, photonics, and AI-enabled innovation.
